WordPress 2.8

I updated a month ago to WP 2.7.1 a month ago ( yeah, I just uprated recently) and updated again to latest version WP 2.8 “Baker” in honor of trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker.

Below is the video for the details of the release of the latest WP version.

Updating was done in less than three minutes. Keeping my finger cross that everything will be fine afterwards. Upon completion of the upgrade process I noticed that the latest version is very light and faster. I like the changes regarding theme installation, it can now be done in WP dashboard and you have options to find a theme based on your preferences.

I hope that all my plugins will work well on this this later version.

Hi Vlad,
Thanks for dropping by again in my site. I sure wish you the best with Adgitize too.

Anyway, you are right. I’ve been delaying my upgrade to the latest version because i want to see feedbacks first. But if that is lighter, that surely is better. It drives away visitor if the site loads like a snail.

I tried to update using automatic update but failed, not sure why. Will do manual update later this weekend, meanwhile I will look for more feedback before upgrading.
