Google Doodle for 40th Anniversary of Moon Landing
Google made a doodle in their homepage in commemoration of 40th anniversary of Moon Landing which happen on July 20, 1969. Here’s the screenshot of the Google doodle .
I wasn’t born yet when this event happened and just learned this in school. This kind of event is worth commemorating as it have major significance to mankind and served as reminder that we can make impossible things possible.

I was ten years old when I watched my mom’s school mate (Neil) step on the moon. We watched it on a small black and white tv set in her bedroom. When they returned to Earth there was a home coming parade for Neil Armstrong in his home town of Wapakaneta, Ohio. We watched it from my grand mothers second floor apartment.

@ Not John Chow,
Really, Neil Armstrong is your mom’s school mate? So cool. I wasn’t born yet when this great event happened but still it is very significant to know.
Appreciate your visit.
