Sexbomb Video for 2010 Election
Posted on December 8, 2009, under Current Events, Entertainment.
This video entitled “Bilog na Hugis Itlog” is done by famous dance group Sexbomb girls intended to educate the public for the incoming automated 2010 election. This is produced by GMA Network for their voters education project. The video showed on how we should vote properly using automated process so that our vote can be counted accordingly.
I find the video very cool and catchy plus the fact that it really convey its message regarding the process of voting in the coming 2010 elections. This is nice initiative from a private sector since the COMELEC seems not taking aggressive effort to conduct voter education program. I haven’t see any commerical on TV from COMELEC to educate the voting public on how they should vote on the coming elections. I wonder what the COMELEC has been doing for their funds or the national government on this matter. Maybe they are busy on how they can manipulate the 2010 automated elections.

My Glimpse on Cory Aquino Funeral Cortege at Makati
Posted on August 4, 2009, under Current Events, Event, Personal.
Yesterday, the details about the Cory Aquino Funeral Cortege flood the internet thru Facebook, Twitter, Plurk and websites. Live telecast were also shown in TV and radio station brodcast the event.
I went out early as I need to accompany my wife to her OB for monthly check up in anticipation of traffic. Since office is just a few blocks away from the Ayala Avenue and I thought that the Cory Aquino cortege already passed the Ayala Avenue but I was wrong. It was just starting to arrive near RCBC Plaza so I decided to take a glimpse and pay respect to former President Corazon Aquino
It just like dejavu, on the time of People Power Revolution. There are so many people lining up on the streets chanting the name of the former president, people are patiently waiting to see and take a glimpse of the cortege, motorists honked their horn, some went out to their vehicle and took pictures, confetti from the buildings showered the cortege. Known personalities and supporters of the former president were also present and joined the parade.
RIP Madam Cory Aquino

On my way to workplace early morning, I passed by the Makati Medical Center (its a few blocks away from our office) when I I noticed many media personnel were at the area and doing their live coverage.
I knew that former president Madam Cory Aquino had been confined there for more than a month already due to colon cancer. I just had this feeling that something wrong happened. I wasn’t aware of the latest news as I had my rest day yesterday. I wasn’t able to watch TV or browse the internet.
Upon arrival in my office, I immediately turn on the on the radio and checked the internet and my hint was confirmed. Former president Cory Aquino died already at the age of 76. According to reports, she died at around 03:18AM Manila Time due to cardio respiratory arrest.
