WordPress 2.8.1.
I log in today on my WP dashboard and noticed that there’s available updated version of WP 2.8.
I checked the details of Wordpress 2.8.1 thru WP Blog and below are the details and highlights of the new Wordpress 2.8.1
WordPress 2.8.1 fixes many bugs and tightens security for plugin administration pages. Core Security Technologies notified us that admin pages added by certain plugins could be viewed by unprivileged users, resulting in information being leaked. Not all plugins are vulnerable to this problem, but we advise upgrading to 2.8.1 to be safe.
What else is new since 2.8? Read through the highlights below, or view all changes since 2.8
Certain themes were calling get_categories() in such a way that it would fail in 2.8. 2.8.1 works around this so these themes won’t have to change.
WordPress 2.8
I updated a month ago to WP 2.7.1 a month ago ( yeah, I just uprated recently) and updated again to latest version WP 2.8 “Baker” in honor of trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker.
Below is the video for the details of the release of the latest WP version.
Updating was done in less than three minutes. Keeping my finger cross that everything will be fine afterwards. Upon completion of the upgrade process I noticed that the latest version is very light and faster. I like the changes regarding theme installation, it can now be done in WP dashboard and you have options to find a theme based on your preferences.
I hope that all my plugins will work well on this this later version.
Have you update already to WordPress 2.8? Do you like the latest version or you just waiting for more feedbacks prior upgrading. Feel free to share your comments about WordPress 2.8 by leaving your comments.

WordPress 2.7.1.
After long delayed, my WP is now updated and I’m currently using WordPress 2.7.1. Thanks to my friend Ramsey who was the one fix the error when I used the plugin Instant Upgrade
Presently, I’m now getting myself familiar with the new environment of this platform.
I will also try to look out WP plugins that I can use for this blog and looking forward for a new theme. I just hope that I can really make it this month and find time to do it as I was really dividing my time online during working hours as I don’t have yet PC in our house.
